   Formerly known as the place where you could get a pint when you were underage The Tams is basically a bigger version of The Grill (now The Retreat, but forever The Grill for our generation!).

   There are a large variety of beers at the bar which can be enjoyed until slightly later than most pubs. The Tams also boasts a beer garden, one of the biggest in the town – a very welcome addition in the summer.

   One of the better pubs in the town.

   The pub is also located across from where you can get buses so this makes it easily accessible.

   The selection and quality of the wine is very good.

   Worth a visit.

   Fantastic atmosphere! lovely friendly Staff even as a newbie to the Town I was made welcome by Staff and customers alike!

   great Beer Garden complete with heaters! great for all summer / winter alike!

   large selection of beers n wines n ales from the popular to the unique!
